    It's really great to be able to "check in" on you guys and on Alex's progress. We love & miss you all so much!! It was so hard to leave...painful to say good-bye. We are all looking forward to being with you again soon. Please give Alex all of our love, hugs & kisses :)

  3. dont worry i was very very independent to. ull pull thro this like me ull need a friend wwho is there and understands trust me of anyone i do. ur beautiful and strong u will pull through this ur strong just like i am so when u can u can ask me for my number...no rush

    I agree with Chloe. My friend was also very independent before her accident and she hates to have to be a "burden" on others. That is her words. I have told her many times she is NEVER a burden on anyone in her life. Most independent people are very stubborn and also some of the most strong so if you were very independent before the accident you will be one day again. Keep up the good work and do what you can. Don't rush things they will come back to you when you are ready. Don't get frustrated at yourself just look at how far you have come from where you were. That's the biggest thing I see with my friend she gets so frustrated with herself over things that aren't in her control or her body not functioning the way it used to. Do you have a caringbridge or carepage?
